A small private art collection situated in an old bourgeois apartment in Copenhagen with arts and crafts from 17th century Europe, Danish Golden Age (first part of the 19th century) and contemporary Danish art as well as a marvelous collection of AC 600 – 1800 Islamic art. I simply love Davids Samling! It is so wonderful with its richness of details and lavish collection of Islamic art. The house itself is beautiful and alluring with dimmed lightning, that makes me completely loose my sense of time. I keep coming back, constantly surprised by art objects, that I have overlooked, or by details somehow suddenly enlightened, calling to my attention.
